The Craftsman Fork Lift Truck Operator (지게차 운전기능사) certification is a national qualification overseen by the Korea Human Resources Development Service (한국산업인력공단). The qualification aims to train skilled operators capable of safely driving forklifts in production facilities, warehouses, and docks. Holders of this certification are responsible for driving forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, as well as performing routine maintenance checks.

Application Process
- Access the Q-Net Website
- Visit the exam information page on Q-Net Website.
- If you do not have an account, register and log in.
- Go to Application Submission
- Once the homepage loads, navigate to the left-side menu and click on 원서접수 (Application Submission), followed by 원서접수신청 (Application Submission Request).
- Log In and Start the Application
- After logging in, you’ll see an application submission screen.
- Click on the 접수하기 Apply button under 국가기술자격 상시시험 (National Technical Qualifications Real-time Exam).
- Note: If it's not the application period, the Apply button will not be available.
- Select the Forklift Operator Exam
- A selection screen will appear.
- Click on 종목을 선택하세요 (Choose Category) and scroll through the list of technical qualifications.
- Select 지게차운전기능사 (Craftsman Fork Lift Truck Operator).
- Agree to Terms and Conditions
- You will be presented with two agreements or terms.
- Check both boxes and click the 다음 (Next) button.
- Fill Out Personal Information
- You will now see a series of personal information fields.
- Fill in the required information according to your specific details and click 다음 (Next).
- Special Assistance and Exam Type
- You will be prompted to choose the exam type and indicate whether you need any special assistance.
- Make the appropriate selections and click 다음 (Next).
- Photo Registration
- If your photo has not been registered or is outdated, click on 정보수정 (Edit Information) on the left side.
- In the personal information editing screen, upload your photo. It’s best to use a photo taken at a photo studio and sent to you via email.
- Select Exam Location and Date
- After registering your photo, the next screen will show options to select your exam location and date.
- Enter your preferred region and desired exam date to see the available test centers.
- Choose your preferred exam time and location and proceed to the next step.
- Payment
- Once you’ve chosen the test center, proceed to payment.
- After payment is completed, your application for the Forklift Truck Operator written exam will be finalized.
