  1. Departure Guarantee Insurance (출국만기보험):
      • Purpose: To secure severance pay for the worker.
      • Enrollment Time: Employers must enroll workers within 15 days of the employment contract becoming effective.
      • Details: Even if the worker changes workplaces, the insurance payments continue. Workers can claim the insurance payout from the insurance company upon departure from Korea.
  1. Pay Guarantee Insurance (임금체불보증보험):
      • Purpose: To provide coverage against unpaid wages.
      • Enrollment Time: Employers must enroll workers within 15 days of the employment contract becoming effective.
      • Details: In case of unpaid wages, workers must report to the Ministry of Employment and Labor and obtain a confirmation of unpaid wages to submit with the insurance claim to Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company.
